As we wipe away the debris from last night’s booze fuelled antics, the sun is desperately battling back the drizzle from ruining the day. Forbidden have just laid some thrashing waste to the main stage while last night, metalhead comedian Steve Hughes collected an enormous crowd outside of the tent; luckily for us drunken fools he returns on Sunday. It sounds as though Xerath had a mad night of their own after their second performance at Bloodstock including beer bongs and very feminine shampoo incidents (ask bassist Chris). Along with Owen and Rich, we caught up with the band backstage. “we had a couple of sound issues but it all came together we had a wicked crowd and a circle pit so we were happy with that.” Whilst hunting down their important bread and cheese rations, the boys turn into giddy fans when it comes to checking out Devin later. “Morbid Angel as well man!” Explains Rich, “however if they play that Radikult song, which sucks, there is going to.be.serious.riots breaking out! I still want to be like evil Dave though, his PVC is so badass!” We’ll leave you guys with that vision while we wait for the.might Kreator later on.
Stay tuned for more BOAntics!!!
